The Special Forces label honors the Green Berets of the United States Army. Similar to Cab Franc, Special Forces elements can blend in seamlessly with other military units or operate at an elite level on their own. This elegant wine started from high-altitude, super premium grapes which were aged in French oak barrels; producing only 144 bottles of this year's limited-edition. Special Forces offers aromas of raspberries, bell pepper and black pepper. On the palate, its varietal strength is expressed but with soft tannins indicative of this region.
